Abstract:

Wright expresses his ideas that have shaped modern architecture and have given men a new and hopeful outlook on the Machine, his philosophy of life, with his reactions, ideas and prejudices. These Kahn lectures, delivered in 1930, have become a primary source document in the history of art and architecture.
